Summary
Maple G1 is a study app for Ontario's G1 knowledge test. Every feature works as a guest with no account. Your practice progress and wrong-answer history are stored on your device, with optional sync via your own iCloud account.
Information We Collect
Maple G1 does not require sign-up and does not collect your name, email address, or other personally identifying information.
Study Data & iCloud Sync
Your practice history, wrong-answer book, and mock exam results are stored locally on your device. If available, this data may also sync via Apple's iCloud key-value storage under your own Apple ID so it carries over between your devices. This data is never sent to our servers, and we cannot access it.
Anonymous Usage Analytics
Maple G1 may record anonymous usage events — such as which screens are opened or how a practice session went — to help us understand and improve the app. These events contain no personal information, are queued on your device, and are only ever transmitted if a remote analytics service is enabled; they are never linked to your identity.
Third-Party Services
Maple G1 contains no advertising and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
Data Storage & Deletion
Deleting Maple G1 removes all locally stored data from your device. Data synced via iCloud can be removed from Settings → [your name] → iCloud on your device.
Children's Privacy
Maple G1 does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
